Terms of Use

Garbage Time is operated by VERGNAUD THOMAS, 44100 Nantes, France ("we", "us").

You must be at least 16 years old to use Garbage Time, and you must be able to accept these terms under the law that applies to you.

Give accurate information when you sign up, keep your password secure and do not share your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has accessed it, reset your password right away using "Forgot password?" on the sign-in screen.

Garbage Time is a free-to-play fantasy basketball game for entertainment. It does not offer real-money entry fees, prizes or wagering, and you may not use it to organize or settle bets.

Scores are computed from real basketball statistics supplied by third-party data sources, according to the rules shown in the app. Statistics can be delayed, incomplete or corrected after the fact, and we may correct scores, results or standings when we find an error. We may also adjust game rules over time.

Garbage Time is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the National Basketball Association (NBA), its teams or its players. League, team and player names belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify real-world players and games.

You agree not to:

You keep ownership of the names and content you add, such as your manager name and league names. You allow us to store and display them to other players as needed to run the service. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

Garbage Time is an evolving product. We may add, change or remove features, and the service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or because of issues outside our control. We may stop offering the service, and will try to give reasonable notice if we do.

You can stop using Garbage Time at any time and delete your account from Settings in the app or at app.garbage-time.app/delete-account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or when necessary to protect other players or the service.

The Garbage Time name, logo, design and software belong to VERGNAUD THOMAS or his licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the service for your own non-commercial entertainment, in line with these terms.

To the extent the law allows, Garbage Time is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that statistics, scores and results will always be accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of Garbage Time.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, or any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

These terms are governed by French law. This does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live.

Any dispute will be brought before the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law. If you are a consumer, you keep any right you have under mandatory consumer protection rules, including the right to bring proceedings before the courts where you live.

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by email. If you keep using Garbage Time after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply.
